Role summary
Inspect and assess trees and brush along utility lines, identify vegetation-management needs and provide clients with inspection results and recommendations. The Forestry Specialist also plans and coordinates tree-clearance crews, discusses access issues and acts as a liaison between clients, crews and customer representatives. Applicants need relevant forestry, biology, natural-resources or environmental qualifications, or a high-school diploma/GED with two years of utility vegetation-management experience. The position is full-time and involves outdoor work.
