Role summary

Provide technical and financial assistance to preserved-farmland owners, helping them implement conservation practices that address natural-resource issues. Working with the New Jersey State Agriculture Development Committee, the Certified Conservation Planner will support landowners through conservation planning. Applicants need NRCS Level 3 Certified Conservation Planner status; Certified Crop Advisor or NRCS Level 2 status will be considered. A relevant bachelor’s degree and valid New Jersey driver’s licence are also required.
