Role summary

Develop and deliver community events, educational visits, volunteer projects and public engagement along the Chelmer and Blackwater Navigation. You’ll build relationships with schools, community groups and public-sector partners; lead activities on water safety, environmental awareness and wildlife; recruit and support volunteers; and coordinate conservation events and shared-use campaigns. The role also includes handling visitor enquiries and bookings. It suits someone with strong communication and organisational skills, ideally with experience in education, community engagement or volunteer coordination.
