Role summary
Coordinate a partnership project to restore Greywell Fen SSSI and identify opportunities to improve the wider River Whitewater catchment. You’ll help shape and deliver the project plan, leading practical habitat restoration, non-native species control, infrastructure improvements and habitat enhancement. The role also involves working with water-sector partners, agencies and neighbouring landowners, coordinating multiple workstreams and maintaining effective relationships. Strong ecological knowledge of groundwater-dependent wetlands and chalk rivers, alongside project management experience, is important.
