Role summary

Develop and deliver woodland creation and tree-planting projects across Hertfordshire, working with landowners and partners to expand tree and hedgerow cover. You will identify planting opportunities, design schemes, prepare cost estimates and secure external funding, then manage procurement, contractors, budgets and aftercare. The role also involves maintaining project records and mapping, building a pipeline of future projects, and securing stakeholder support. Applicants need environmental land-management delivery experience, strong project organisation and communication skills, and the ability to manage several projects from start to finish.
