Role summary

Lead technical authority for Biodiversity Net Gain work across England, approving ecological assessments, Biodiversity Metric calculations, Habitat Management and Monitoring Plans, and monitoring methods and reports. You will quality-assure site assessments and surveys, set technical standards, advise on conservation covenants, and mentor the Ecological Assessor team. The role requires substantial ecological consultancy or habitat-management experience, independent BNG assessment expertise and professional accreditation appropriate to sign off technical work.
