River Restoration Project Officer / Senior Project Officer

Role summary
Develop and deliver river-restoration and habitat-improvement projects that benefit rivers and chalk streams, biodiversity and local communities. You’ll work with landowners, contractors, regulators and partners, contributing to project planning, procurement, funding, delivery and reporting. Depending on experience, you may lead complex programmes, manage budgets and contractors, provide technical advice, and mentor colleagues. Applicants should bring relevant knowledge of river restoration, freshwater ecology or catchment management, project-delivery experience, stakeholder skills and familiarity with mapping software.
