Role summary
Lead the safe, efficient delivery of practical environmental works across a regional team, turning contracts and management plans into work programmes and site activities. You will plan resources, supervise fieldwork, manage and develop staff, oversee health and safety and environmental standards, and monitor budgets, quality and productivity. The work includes habitat restoration, invasive species control, river maintenance and natural flood management, alongside community and volunteer activity. The role requires operational leadership, sound field judgement and experience managing teams, contractors and practical environmental work.
