Role summary

Lead a summer trail crew maintaining high-priority routes across municipal lands, State Parks and Tongass National Forest in and around Sitka. The work includes trails reached by road and multi-day deployments to boat-access locations, including Mount Edgecumbe, Lake Eva, Sealion Cove and Salmon Lake. The paid crew works alongside a second remote crew on some projects and training, with support from a substantial volunteer base. This role involves leading trail-maintenance work and working in remote settings.
