Role summary

Coordinate field operations supporting trail specialists and seasonal staff across the George Washington and Jefferson National Forests. The role combines field-based support for smaller-scale remote and front-country trail projects, volunteer events and data collection, with administrative work from the Roanoke office and some remote duties. You may also assist a six-person trail crew and travel to other south-eastern locations for training and organisation events. The position is funded through August 2030, with potential to extend.
