Role summary

Oversee monitoring of conservation easements and the monitoring and management of Tar River Land Conservancy-owned properties. The specialist will help care for protected land and support stewardship projects across an eight-county region, working with community volunteers where needed. The conservancy protects water quality, stream buffers, farms, forests, wildlife habitat and natural areas, and manages public hiking trails and nature preserves. The role is based at the organisation’s headquarters in Louisburg, North Carolina.
