Role summary

Lead restoration and stewardship across The Nature Conservancy’s Sandhills preserves in North Carolina, with a focus on longleaf pine ecosystems. The manager will develop and implement ecological restoration and land-management plans, oversee the regional prescribed-fire programme and manage conservation-easement monitoring. Responsibilities include planning, implementing, maintaining and evaluating fire-management activities, managing direct reports and building partner relationships. The work supports resilient, connected landscapes and the long-term management of natural communities.
