Role summary

Lead The Pisgah Conservancy into its next phase, building on a decade of work supporting Pisgah National Forest and its partnership with the US Forest Service. The Executive Director will set an organisation-wide direction, strengthen philanthropic support and expand the Conservancy’s impact. The role calls for strategic leadership of a nonprofit dedicated to on-the-ground forest work, resourcing and expertise, and engaging and educating the public. An ideal candidate brings a broad organisational perspective and the ability to grow support for conservation.
