Role summary
Lead the strategic and operational delivery of parks and open-space services across Redbridge, including grounds maintenance, allotments, nature conservation, country parks and fleet operations. You’ll manage teams, budgets, contractors and assets; develop service plans and improvements; ensure safety and statutory compliance; and build relationships with the Council, communities and other partners. The post also covers incident response, performance and financial sustainability. It requires substantial operational leadership experience, horticultural and grounds-maintenance knowledge, and strong budget and stakeholder management.
